SUGGESTIONS FOR DESIGNING QUESTIONS USED IN LEGENDS READING COMPREHENSION TEACHING IN GRADE 6

Teaching reading comprehension in general and teaching legends, in particular, shows the importance of the question system. Moreover, most of the updated research achievements on teaching text reading as well as the new Language and Literature curriculum after 2018 have created many requirements for designing questions to be used in reading comprehension teaching. However, there are many limitations in the system of legend teaching questions in the current textbook such as: there are few of guiding questions, the contents of the questions do not give a general view of the legend, questions are not diversified and far from focusing on the problem of teaching by genre characteristics. By studying the requirements set forth by the new Language and Literature curriculum after 2018 as well as the system of guiding questions for reading legends in the current textbook - Vietnamese Language and Literature 6, this article gives some ideas about question designing issue to improve the effectiveness legends reading comprehension teaching
