Summary:
Educational forecasting plays an extremely important role and is the scientific basis for policy making and educational development strategies of each country. One of the contents of the education forecast is the forecast of the number of high school graduates. The paper presents the US experience of high school graduate forecast, which focuses on the analysis of forecasting methods/models. This is an important factor determining the reliability of the forecast.
