Summary:
In the context of globalization and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the digital ecosystem with the Internet, social media, and AI is profoundly impacting the personality development of young people. Previous studies have primarily focused on risks such as Internet addiction, academic cheating, and psychological crises; while proposing measures to manage behavior and enhance digital skills, they have lacked a systemic approach to the shift in values in the digital age. This article points out that traditional values such as responsibility, honesty, and compassion have not disappeared but have been modernized into digital citizenship, digital academic integrity, and critical thinking skills. Based on this, it proposes innovation in value education towards experiential learning, technology integration, and a learner-centered approach to meet the requirements of forming global citizens in the new context.
