The results indicated a good correlation betweeth high school graduation exam and competency assessment results. The correlation coefficient (r) in the range of 0.33 to 0.46 with the Pearson significance level (Sig. = 0.000) demonstrates that better English proficiency candidates should approach the higher HSA scores through successful questionnaires of linguistic thinking skills and resolved problems.
