Summary: 
Comic books are a crucial foundational step in a child’s journey toward reading proficiency. They serve as valuable resources, enabling children to practice essential skills such as listening, visual recognition, physical interaction, and book handling, thus enhancing the overall quality of preschool education programs. Developing reading abilities through comics represents a pivotal task in preschool settings, instilling language confidence in children before they embark on their firstgrade journey. This article presents the results of a survey conducted to assess the current utilization of comic books for fostering reading abilities among children in select preschools. The survey findings serve as a practical foundation for educators to identify relevant focus areas and propose feasible measures to enhance operational efficiency.
