Summary:
The new general education curriculum was promulgated in 2018 in the direction of developing learners’ quality and capacity, with the policy of one curriculum and many sets of textbooks. The new curriculum and textbooks were deployed in context, a challenging when the COVID-19 epidemic was complicated. The article presents the actual situation of implementing the 6th grade civic education syllabus and textbook from preparation to implementation and provide some solutions to improve the effectiveness of implementing the Citizenship Education curriculum and textbooks.
