Summary: 
Successfully transforming from traditional learning environments to smart digital learning environments in the context of Industry 4.0 would promote a new platform for Vietnam education in the age of globalization and internationalization integration. There is no recipe for accomplishing learning environment transformation. Every country is different, and no standardizing procedure of transformation is universal for all and for everywhere, even a single set of action steps won’t fit all. This report reviews many aspects of digital transformation in education and pays the main focus on governmental policies that support and motivate a successful transformation in other countries around the world. The findings of the research are precious theoretical and practical experiences including transforming routines, key points, advantages, and disadvantages of which are successfully launching, implementing and sustaining efforts to transform learning environments to new digital ones. As a conclusion, the report points out the needs to research a policy model framework for encouraging a successful digital transformation in education in Vietnam.
