Summary:
OnLine Analytical Processing (OLAP) is used for data analysis and decision making. Data analyzed by by OLAP operations gives us a visual view of a certain problem. The paper focuses on OLAP technology application in analyzing academic results of students at Ba Ria-Vung Tau College of Education, particularly in analyzing their outcomes in various aspects such as forms of testing and assessment, lecturers’ grading and training scheme. The OLAP results have been acting as the basis for school leaders to make changes and decisions for the coming years to improve the quality of training. The results also lay foundations for us to continue applying OLAP in analyzing other aspects such as graduation results or post graduate job surveys.
