CURRENT SITUATION OF VOCATIONAL EDUCATION FOR STUDENTS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISORDERS AT SPECIALIZED SCHOOLS IN HANOI CITY

This article aims to examine the main findings in the survey on vocational education for children with developmental disorders in Hanoi, including: i) The level of disability of some groups of children with developmental disorders, ii) Vocational ability of some groups of children with developmental disorders, iii) The needs of parents of children with developmental disorders in vocational education for these children, iv) The content of vocational education for children with developmental disorders is being carried out at educational institutions in Hanoi. These assessment results are an important basis for those who work to educate students with developmental disorders to propose the vocational education contents, measures and teaching forms that are feasible and effective for students with developmental disorders; helping them have the opportunity to participate in the professional world and the labor market, to be able to live independently as well as to integrate into the community
