USING SOCRATIVE TO SUPPORT FORMATIVE ASSESSMENT IN TEACHING PHYSICS

Summary: 
Formative assessment is an assessment activity that takes place in the teaching process, which is meaningful to the development and progress of learners. The application of information technology in assessing is a solution to increase interactivity, aiming to obtain feedback more quickly and with better quality. Socrative is one of the online platforms, creating an engaging assessment environment for learners. The article presents measures and procedures for using Socrative to support formative assessment in teaching Physics. The pedagogical experimentation was conducted on 120 students of Bui Duc Tai High School, Hai Lang district, Quang Tri province. The results of pedagogical experiments show that Socrative is an effective tool for formative assessment activities in teaching Physics, contributing to improving students’ learning outcomes.
