Summary:
Implementing the preschool education curriculum toward a childcentered approach targeting children's needs and interests is increasingly emphasized and is an important criterion of quality preschool education. During the late 20th century, this trend focusing on observing children with multi-age, multi-cultural classrooms has gradually shown its effectiveness. In the current period, it is shifting to creative learning with nature, the use of information technology in activities, reducing the gap in children's achievement, etc. The article focuses on analyzing some new points of these trends in implementing the preschool education curriculum and, on that basis, makes recommendations for implementing the preschool education curriculum in Vietnam today.
