READING COMPREHENSION EXERCISES FOR GRADE 2 STUDENTS IN THE DIRECTION OF COMPETENCE DEVELOPMENT

Reading is a language activity of the Vietnamese language and Literature curriculum in primary school, ensuring the development of each student in learning, working, and communicating. This issue has been studied extensively but it still needs to be further investigated. Focusing on the goal of developing the competence of the Vietnamese language and Literature curriculum, the authors propose a measure of reading comprehension in a selected case as a reading comprehension exercise. We chose a number of exercises to conduct experiments because these exercises meet the criteria set forth by this study in the direction of competence development but still suitable for students.
