Summary:
Personalizing learning has become an inevitable trend in the context of the industrial revolution 4.0. This study aims to synthesize and analyze related concepts and essential factors in the process of effectively implementing personalized teaching and learning in order to contribute to the current literature about personalized learning. The research results show that the trend of personalized learning originates from the need to solve four problems of education in a new context. It also highlights six essential factors that need to be ensured to actualize personalized learning. These results and recommendations not only provide a theoretical foundation for managers in implementing personalized learning models in schools with the application of digital platforms but also help education researchers have a more in-depth and comprehensive view of this issue.
