BUILDING PORTFOLIOS FOR THE ASSESSMENT OF PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

Summary: 
Portfolio assessment is a method that allows students to be actively involved in the assessment process, promoting their self-assessment in learning activities. Portfolio assessment is usually carried out in 2 phases: building and evaluating, in which building portfolios is considered the central stage. This article clarifies the process of building portfolios used in assessing the learning of primary school students. A specific illustration on building portfolios to assess the progress of primary school students has also been made as a template for primary school teachers when applying portfolio assessment method in the process of teaching.
