Summary:
Authentic assessment includes methods, techniques, or tools designed to measure learners’ abilities by requiring them to perform tasks or activities connected to real-life practice, simulating situations they may encounter in daily life or at work. The application of authentic assessment in teaching is becoming increasingly popular. Therefore, it is essential to conduct an in-depth analysis of the conditions for using authentic assessment tools. These conditions include clearly defining learning outcomes, creating environments and assessment tools that simulate real-world situations, providing opportunities for discussion and feedback throughout the assessment process, and establishing appropriate contexts for authentic assessment. Such an analysis will help build an effective assessment framework, ensuring that the teaching and learning process based on learning outcomes at the Academy of Politics is implemented in a substantive manner and contributes to narrowing the gap between theory and practice.
