THE REAL SITUATION OF GRADE 3 MATHEMATICS ASSESSMENT THROUGH CHECKLIST IN THE WAY OF DEVELOPING THINKING CAPABILITY AND MATHEMATICAL REASONING IN PRIMARY SCHOOLS IN VIET TRI CITY, PHU THO PROVINCE

The current practice of teaching Mathematics in elementary schools shows that particular attention should be paid to the forms of Math evaluation and assessment. Through practical learning and according to the Etep program, countries with advanced education have built educational programs with the orientation of developing learners’ competencies, have used Math assessment tools for primary school students, that’s the checklist. This tool has many advantages in evaluating the teaching of Vietnamese Mathematics in general and primary schools in particular. The article presents a picture of the current situation of 3rd grade Mathematics assessment by utilizing checklist in the way of developing thinking capability and mathematical reasoning in primary schools in Viet Tri city, Phu Tho province.
