THE SYSTEM OF EVALUATING THE COMPETENCE OF MARITIME TRAINING AND EDUCATION IN VIETNAM

The competence evaluation system according to international standards must be thoroughly understood by all officials, teachers, employees and students. The system for evaluating the competence of maritime training and coaching must have a specialized section under the direct leadership of the principal. This department is in charge of monitoring the implementation of the system of evaluation, inspection and supervision of the implementation process, thereby providing improvement requirements. Periodically organizing self-assessment of the competence and the quality of maritime training and education as a basis for the school leaders to have appropriate solutions in allocating resources more effectively so as to gradually improve the quality of training and education in the school. The article mentions the following contents: current situation of the system of evaluating the competence of maritime training and education; principles for evaluating the training and coaching competence; methods of assessing the competence of training and education; establishing the system and some conclusions on the system for evaluating the competence of maritime training and coaching in Vietnam.
