Summary: 

Teachers play a crucial role in the successful implementation of educational curriculum. Studies have demonstrated teachers’ significant influence on the quality of education. However, in the process of performing their duties, teachers face various challenges due to factors related to educational activities, especially when implementing new curriculum innovations. This article presents the experiences of several countries in overcoming these challenges and proposes recommendations for Vietnamese teachers to overcome their difficulties and contribute to the successful implementation of the 2018 general education curriculum.
