Benchmarking methods have become increasingly popular in recent years for assessing the current situation in higher education institutions. These methods are considered to be one of the essential tools for ensuring and improving the quality of education. They also help private higher education institutions to determine their position, participate in accreditation processes, and increase their rankings in national and international higher education systems. Despite the benefits of benchmarking, private higher education institutions face several challenges in implementing these methods. This study aims to collect, analyze, and propose solutions to help private higher education institutions overcome the difficulties of benchmarking the current quality of higher education.
