Summary:

Mathematics in the 2018 general curriculum has introduced several new points, with the most notable being the integration of practical and interdisciplinary perspectives. This approach enables learners to apply the knowledge they acquire in school and develop the core qualities and competencies prescribed by the curriculum. However, many teachers are unfamiliar with this new curriculum and may find it challenging to design lesson plans based on this new orientation. This article refers to an approach to design and organize Mathematics lessons that increase the practical connection. The article uses the topic of ratios, specifically the golden ratio, as an example to illustrate this approach.

Keywords:
Ratios
golden ratio
golden ratio and its application in practice.
