Summary:
mproving the quality of training students at pedagogical universities is one of the urgent requirements of current educational innovation. Although the Ministry of Education and Training has introduced many policies to synchronously innovate from preschool education, general education, and higher education, the quality of new pedagogy students, including in biology teacher education, is challenging for the education sector. The study used a survey consisting of 29 questions on a 5-point Likert scale to identify factors affecting training quality. The survey was conducted with 4th year students (about to graduate) majoring in Biology from some Pedagogical Universities in Vietnam. The number of survey samples included in the data analysis was 85 students. Results through Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) show five factors affecting the quality of training in the Bachelor of Biology Education: Management and assessment of learners according to program objectives, Evaluation in training programs, Infrastructure, Forms of teaching, and Lecturers. This result helps educational managers and lecturers determine the direction for developing the quality of training students in Biology Pedagogy
