Summary:
Primary school students have quite sharp intelligence and rich imagination, which is a good premise for the development of mathematical thinking, but easy to be distracted and confused if they are stressed and over-scheduled. Therefore, the curriculum content and teaching methods need to be suitable for students’ psychology. Especially in primary school teaching, innovation in Mathematics teaching plays an important role. Learning Mathematics will help students develop their thinking competence. Because of their deep thinking, they can be more agile and sharper in many other subjects. To perform well in mathematics, every student needs to be passionate and interested in learning. Thus, it requires teachers to increase students'; passion and interest in the subject. Dealing with that fact, “Learning through Play” in Mathematics is an extremely useful and effective solution for primary school students. Learning through play exposes students to new things, making learning easier and doing better in school. Therefore, teachers should take advantage of play activities to create opportunities for children to acquire knowledge and experiment in the learning process.
