Summary:
This study utilizes Denison's Organizational Culture Model (OC) to assess the current state and propose measures to improve OC at the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM). The study employs a quantitative method with simple random sampling. Data is collected through online and direct surveys using questionnaires for 466 individuals (including 228 managers and 238 lecturers) from seven member universities of VNU-HCM from 01/11/2022 to 09/11/2022. The collected data is analyzed using SPSS 20 statistical software to evaluate the reliability and validity of the measurement scale, conduct descriptive statistics of the study sample, and assess the current state of OC at VNUHCM. The research results indicate that OC at VNU-HCM is evaluated at an "acceptable" level. This study provides crucial information about the current state of OC at VNU-HCM and proposes five measures to improve OC not only at VNU-HCM but also as a valuable reference for other universities with similar cultural characteristics.
