Applying flip classroom model in teaching the topic of “Ancient countries” in the 10th grade history texbooks at high schools

Summary: 
In order to promote students’ positive attitude and creativity, especially develop their self-study capacity, and contribute to renovating teaching methods of history, the article presents the application of the flip classroom model to teaching history, specifically teaching the topic of “Ancient countries” at high schools. By theoretical research methods as well as surveying, the authors clarify the following contents: Characteristics of flip class model; Advantages and disadvantages when applying the flip classroom model in teaching; introduction and instruction of some tools to support teaching activities in flip classroom model; and its application into teaching the topic of “Ancient countries” in history at high schools
