Designing some themes to teach biology in English for Students at High Schools

Nowadays, proficiency in foreign languages in general and English in particular is essential because it is one of the keys to the processes of international integration and access to developed countries. In addition, theme-based teaching has also received more attention in high schools when students can acquire complete and logical knowledge to form and develop their competence. This paper focuses on designing some themes for teaching Biology in English with the 5-step method in high school Biology curriculum, including: Determining the topic title; Building a specialized vocabulary system; Creating content for teaching Biology in English; Designing teaching plans; Testing, evaluating and learning from experience. The results of pedagogical experiment have proven the effectiveness of teaching Biological themes in English to develop Biology, foreign language and other necessary competencies for students. This article can be regarded as a reference for teachers to design themes for teaching Biology in English at high schools
