Summary:
In the context of digital transformation in higher education, research on the management of AI-enhanced English language teaching has increased rapidly. However, existing studies mainly focus on classroom-level applications and lack systematic analysis from a programmatic and institutional management perspective. In addition, these studies are rarely grounded in theoretical frameworks of educational management or technology governance, which limits a comprehensive understanding of the role of management in AI integration. This study conducts a systematic review of international research using SCOPUS data and follows the PRISMA framework, selecting 22 studies for analysis. The findings indicate a sharp increase in publications since 2023, yet a coherent management framework has not been established. Four major approaches are identified, including policy and data governance, faculty development, quality assurance and academic integrity, and technology ecosystem management. The study contributes to systematizing and reinterpreting existing research from a management perspective and highlighting the need for integrated management models that balance risk control with pedagogical innovation.
