Summary:
This study analyzes students’ legal awareness of human rights in educational activities at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education. Using a quantitative, cross-sectional descriptive design, the study surveyed 489 full-time students with a structured questionnaire and analyzed the data using descriptive statistics in JAMOVI. The findings show that students generally hold positive attitudes toward human rights and acknowledge the role of human rights education in teacher education. However, their knowledge remains uneven, especially regarding human rights categories and international legal instruments. Their participation in human rights education activities is present but not equally strong across seminars, community projects, and self directed learning. The results provide an empirical basis for reviewing curriculum content, strengthening experiential learning, and improving the integration of human rights education in teacher training.
