A REVIEW OF THE AI-TPACK FRAMEWORK AND ITS APPLICATION IN MATHEMATICS TEACHER TRAINING

Summary: 
This study provides a review of the AI-TPACK framework, an extension of the traditional TPACK model, that integrates artificial intelligence (AI) into education. The article analyzes the core components of AI-TPACK and their intersections, highlighting the importance of equipping teachers with specialized knowledge in the digital age. The review shows that the practical application of this framework is still limited and at an early stage, especially in Mathematics teacher training. International studies also indicate that teachers’ AI-TPACK competence is at a medium level and is influenced by various factors such as teaching experience, digital skills, and self-confidence. The article also identifies several significant research gaps in Vietnam related to this topic.
