RESEARCH TRENDS ON PROFESSIONAL PASSION OF EARLY CHILDHOOD TEACHERS AND RESEARCH SUGGESTIONS IN VIETNAM

Summary: 
This study refers to professional passion and activities of early childhood teachers. Data were extracted from the Scopus database and analyzed with VOSviewer software to visualize research outcomes, temporal trends, and research density. The findings indicate that factors such as professional identity, self-efficacy, personal motivation, and emotional attachment serve as key psychological foundations for sustaining professional passion. Professional development and job satisfaction emerge as central links between psychological dimensions and practical behaviors in early childhood education settings. Recent research trends express a shift from behavioral approaches to a deeper exploration of individual psychological constructs, particularly during the formation of professional identity. The study proposes further clarification of the differences among types of passion, the relationship between identity and burnout, and the role of organizational culture in maintaining long-term professional engagement. Scientometric analysis is recommended as an effective supplementary method to complement qualitative research in enhancing understanding of teacher psychology within the context of fundamental and comprehensive educational reform.
