SOME SOLUTIONS TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF POLITICAL THEORY TEACHING AT UNIVERSITIES TODAY

The world is currently entering the era of knowledge economy, which has been and will continue to create strong changes affecting all aspects of social life, including education, especially higher education. It requires universities to make changes to adapt to the demands of the time, as well as to improve the quality of teaching and learning to develop high quality human resources. In particular, the subjects of political theory play an especially important role in establishing the foundation of political theory for students, contributing to training the high quality human resources who are not only skillful and knowledgeable but also qualified in the political field, step by step development of the scientific worldview and positive human outlook. For this purpose, there is a need to improve the quality of teaching and learning of political theory subjects at universities. The article focuses on clarifying some concepts, analyzing and evaluating the current status of the political theory teaching and learning, and proposing some basic solutions to improve the quality of teaching political theory subjects at universities in our country nowadays.
