VOCATIONAL EDUCATION MODEL IN JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOLS IN ETHNIC MINORITY AREAS

Vocational education is an important content of the general education program in 2018. It contributes to achieving the goal of comprehensive education and streamlining students after junior high school and high school. Implementing the contents of vocational education in schools to develop career-oriented competencies for students, thereby helping students choose careers in accordance with their ability, personality, interests, the conditions and circumstances of their family, and the needs of the society. The article summarizes the vocational education model implemented in a number of junior high schools in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, lessons learned from the model, and recommendations to replicate the model.
