THE CURRENT SITUATION OF IMPLEMENTING LOCAL EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS FOR GRADE 6 IN THE SCHOOL YEAR OF 2021 - 2022

The study surveyed 3453 administrators and teachers about the current situation of implementing local educational materials for grade 6 in the school year of 2021- 2022 in nine provinces with the following content: training on using materials; developing educational plans and implementation of teaching and learning activities; forms and effectiveness of using materials; assignment of teachers to teach local educational contents; conditions to ensure the material implementation; and student assessment in teaching the content of local education in grade 6. The survey results show that the implementation of local educational materials in grade 6 in the school year of 2021- 2022 has certain advantages, but there are still difficulties in the implementation process. On that basis, the research has proposed some solutions to promote the achieved results and deal with the limitations and difficulties. Accordingly, localities need to flexibly and synchronously apply solutions for better implementation of the local educational content in the coming years.
