GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP EDUCATION IN TEACHING HISTORY AT HIGH SCHOOLS

Summary: 
The subject of History at high-school level includes basic and advanced contents in the history of the world, the region and Vietnam through a thematic system of political, economic, social, civilized, and cultural history. Therefore, the History subject at high schools provides opportunities for students to get knowledge on global issues, developing skills, attitudes and values of global citizens. The article analyzes the chances of integration, and a number of orientations on teaching method and assessment of global citizenship education in teaching History at high schools.
