EDUCATION INNOVATION IN VIETNAM SINCE SEPTEMBER 1945 AND THE MISSION FOR NATIONAL EDUCATION IN THE CURRENT SITUATION

Training human resources to meet the requirements of the country has always been an essential task of the national education. Since the foundation day of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam on September 2nd, 1945, Vietnam’s education has undergone three major reforms, contributing to human resource training, improving people’s knowledge, and meeting the supply of human resources for national development. This article aims to present three educational innovations, including: The first national education renovation (in 1945) with three reforms in 1950, 1956, and 1959; The second innovation (from the end of 1986 to the early years of the twenty-first century); and The third educational renovation (since November 2013) which was associated with the industrial revolution 4.0, thereby considering the tasks of national education development in the new situation.
