DEVELOPING DIGITAL COMPETENCE FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS THROUGH TEACHING LITERATURE

Summary: 
The article has reviewed a number of studies on digital competence and the digital competency framework of students. On that basis, it has been proposed to be applied in developing students’ digital competence through teaching Literature. The article has also explored opportunities for integrating and developing some manifestations of this competence in Literature at high school level and illustrated with a lesson plan for teaching Literature in grade 10 according to the 2018 General Education Program. Thereby, the article hopes to provide researchers and teachers with a specific view on the ability to develop digital competence for students through the subject.
