Summary:

The article analyzes the current situation of communication skills education through play activities for children with autism spectrum disorder in integration classes at age 5-6 years based on specific statistics about the perceptions of teachers and parents on the importance of research issues, expression, frequency, and the implementation level of children’s communication skills in daily activities in general and play activities in particular. The results show that communication skills performance consisted of 7 skill groups with 33 items. From the practical survey results, the author proposed 4 groups of measures including 10 impact measures to help teachers and parents orient, select and effectively apply these measures in education of communication skills through play activities in integration classes for 5-6 year old children in order to improve the communication skills for children with autism spectrum disorder.
