BUILDING EXPERIENTIAL TOPICS FOR PRIMARY STUDENTS ACCORDING TO THE 2018 GENERAL EDUCATION PROGRAM

Summary: 
In 2018, the Ministry of Education and Training has issued a new General education program. In particular, experiential education is a consequence of shifting from content-based to competencybased teaching. Experiential education is not only built into a new educational activity but also becomes an integral part of all subjects of the General education program. As a result, experiential education is highly valued by the builders of the General education program in Vietnam. In this article, the author focuses on clarifying the nature and characteristics of experiential activities as a new educational activity in the 2018 General education program.
