Summary:

Currently, local education contents have been implemented in high schools. In the school year 2022-2023, these materials were taught to grade 10 students. The study surveyed 1542 teachers who are responsible for teaching local education materials for grade 10 students and administrators in 10 provinces/cities in terms of training in using materials, assigning teachers to teach local education contents, developing educational plans and teaching methods, the form and effectiveness of material utilization, and the necessary conditions for material implementation, to explore the challenges and advantages of the implementation process. The survey results revealed that despite some initial positive outcomes and advantages, there were still challenges and shortcomings. The study proposed several solutions to support schools in effectively implementing local education contents in the coming years.
