VALUES EDUCATION IN GENERAL SCHOOLS: INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCES AND LESSONS FOR VIETNAM

Summary: 
Building a cultural value system for students in general schools is a difficult problem, at least in two aspects. The first is how to understand about cultural values so as to have consensus. The second is how to choose the core cultural values among the multitude of cultural values to include in the school. This article wants to find answers from some learned lessons based on an overview of values education and values selection in schools of some countries around the world.
