Summary:

The development of school culture is an indispensable condition to improve the physical and spiritual quality for the members in schools, to best provide activities in the training process, to create a modern learning environment, and affirm the brand; it is also considered as the foundation for university autonomy and the orientation of international integration in the quality era. Therefore, the development of the school culture plays an important role and needs to be carried out continuously and in accordance with the school’s development strategy and vision. The paper presents some issues related to developing the school culture in Saigon University, including the need to develop the school culture, positive and negative manifestations, the factors influencing the school culture development, as well as the core values from the evaluation of lecturers and students. Based on the current situation analysis, the article uses the Independent Samples T-test to test the difference of evaluation between two groups of lecturers and students on the contents of the survey.
