Summary: 
Coherence in childrens’ language is recognized as the essential criterion for assessing language and cognitive development and dramatically affects children’s comprehensive development. The mission of developing coherent language for preschool children needs to be carried out regularly and continuously through diverse activities in preschool, in which experiential activities take priority. The article presents an overview of domestic and international perspectives on developing coherent language for children through experiential activities in preschool as a basis for applying this point in organizing educational activities to meet the requirements of Vietnam’s preschool education in the current period.
