Transferable skills: international experiences and suggestions for Vietnam

Summary: 
Transferable skills have attracted great attention from researchers, organizations and countries worldwide in the context of the twenty-first century. In this context, the requirements of developing transferable skills for Vietnamese students must be also considered. On the basis of studying the international and domestic experiences, the article proposes the concept of transferable skills as well as suggests four groups of transferable skills concluding cognitive skills, social skills, skills for dealing with difficult emotions and self-control, and tool-using skills for high school students in Vietnam.
