Summary: 
The article examines the theory and practice of forming symbols of quantity for 5-6 year old children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) at special schools. The study was conducted on 74 teachers and 48 parents of children with ASD in order to study better about the process, methods and system of exercises to form the quantity symbols through information visualization for 5 - 6 year old children with ASD. The research results indicate that: 1/ At the age of 5-6, the children with ASD gradually transfer to the cumulative learning stage, recognizing the corresponding number, but this is also the period when the child find difficulties in forming the symbols of quantity; 2/ The ability of information acquisition through visual perception is one of the strengths of the children with ASD, so if we use the information visualization systems to form the quantity symbols for children with ASD, it will help children learn the lesson more easily; 3/ Both teachers and parents of children with ASD have good aware of the process of forming the symbols of quantity for 5-6 year old children with ASD through the visualization of information, but they also have difficulties in systematizing and structuring pictures in order to attract and stimulate visual perception for these children to help them learn better.
