SOME MODELS OF ONLINE EDUCATION IN THE WORLD AND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR VIETNAM

Summary: 
The article researches concepts and some models of online education in the world to discover distinctive and indispensable elements in implementing online education. Teacher Performance Assessment Consortium (TPAC) is known as a model which demonstrates functions of the elements, including Technology, People, Evaluation and Content within policy and management system. When implementing online education, these elements need to be taken into consideration in any country or any institution, and Vietnam should not be an exception. In addition, blended learning is a model of online education suitable for Vietnam to apply in practice to prove that online education can serve as a complementary type to face-to-face learning.
