Summary:
Inclusive education has been integrated into the Sustainable Development Goals at the United Nations Sustainable Development Summit, highlighting the right of people with disabilities to access equal, quality education and lifelong learning opportunities. In Vietnam, although the concept of education for all is relatively new, it is recognized as an inevitable developmental trajectory. The legislative system of Vietnam has been established based on general international principles adapted to the specific conditions of the country. This article analyzes the impact and gaps between inclusive education policies and practices, providing recommendations for all levels and relevant departments to create a policy environment that fosters effective educational implementation.
