Summary:

Singing is an important component of the Early Childhood Education training curriculum in general and at Hoa Lu University in particular. However, existing materials for training singing techniques are primarily developed for professional vocal training or for learners with advanced musical backgrounds. They are not fully aligned with the objectives, proficiency levels, and professional requirements of students majoring in Early Childhood Education. In addition, students’ musical abilities vary across training institutions. In response to this situation, this article develops a system of singing technique exercises that is appropriate to the training context and musical abilities of Early Childhood Education students at Hoa Lu University. It also provides guidance on implementing vocal exercises to help instructors organize singing instruction more effectively, thereby contributing to the development of students’ singing and professional competences.
