Summary:
Micro-teaching is one of the progressive teaching methods in light of student-centeredness. The Micro-teaching method creates ample opportunities for students to practice individual skills in a short lesson (an excerpt of the lesson) in a mini-class (micro), with observation (videotaping) and feedback from other students in the group and their lecturer. This method proves to be suitable for pedagogical students to master each individual skill, forming parts of their teaching professional competencies. It is the aim of this article to present the application of the micro-teaching method in the training of teaching skills for students at Ba Ria - Vung Tau College of Education
