Summary:
Creativity is not an innate quality in each single person. Creativity; otherwise, needs to be nurtured and fostered over a long period of time. It is the aim of this article to introduce and analyze the concept of creative teaching, its characteristics and the application of creative teaching into an English speaking class. The paper also highlights some of the difficulties that teachers and students may encounter during the process of creative teaching and learning. However, given the efforts and dedication of teachers and some positive changes in the national education, creative teaching should be an integral part in the teaching and learning process of both teachers and students.
