Summary: 
The quality of education and training at military academies and schools in general and the Artillery Officer School in Vietnam in particular, depends on many factors, including content, form, and teaching methods. Innovating the contents, forms and teaching methods towards maximizing the positive learning of students is a prerequisite solution, creating motivation for learners to master the system of knowledge, techniques, and military career skills; to train bravery and manners of the officers in charge of the Artillery in order to meet the increasing requirements of military construction and national defense in the new situation. In the scope of this article, the author focuses on examining the current state of teaching of lecturers and the positive learning and practice of students. On that basis, some basic solutions are provided to renovate the contents, forms, teaching methods of teachers to arouse and promote maximally the positive learning and training of students in order to meet the targets as well as training requirements, contributing to building a strong and comprehensive school.
