DEVELOPING MATHEMATICAL COMMUNICATION COMPETENCE FOR JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT THROUGH TEACHING GEOMETRY

Competency‐based teaching is necessary requirements for enhancing teaching quality in high schools in the current period. The competence of mathematical communication is one of the mathematical competences necessary to develop for students in teaching mathematics. Geometry subject with the characteristics of symbols, figures, and mathematical language will has advantages in developing the mathematical communication competence.
